HOW TO PROGRAM YOUR OWN MESSAGES INTO 2-LINE TCI SIGN
- Clear Memory
- Press PROG– “Clear Memory?” will appear on sign.
- Press ENT (Located on far right of 5th line).
- To Enter a Message in Slot J
- Press PROG– “Clear Memory?” will appear on sign.
- Press [-->] twice– “Input Slot:” will appear on sign.
- Press J (or whatever slot you want to program message into).
- Press ENT– Slot name and “[Top]” will appear on sign.
- Press [-->] or [<--] to select desired message position.
- Press ENT– Slot name and “[Rotate]” willappear on sign.
- Press [-->] or [<--] to select desired mode.
- Press ENT– Cursor will flash through available colors.
- Press COL until cursor is desired color (Red, Green, Brown).
- Type in your custom message and press ENT to put sign back into run mode.
- To ChangeModes
- Press PROG– “Clear Memory?” will appear on sign.
- Press [<--] twice– “C_Mode Slot:” will appear on sign.
- Press J (or whatever slot you want to change the mode of).
- Press ENT– Slot name and “[Rotate]” will appear on sign.
- Press [-->] or [<--] to select desired mode.
- Press ENT to put sign back into run mode.
- To Edit a Custom Message
- Press PROG– “Clear Memory?” will appear on sign.
- Press [<--]– “C_Part Slot:” will appear on sign.
- Press J (or whatever slot you want to change the mode of). Press ENT.
- Press [-->] to begin to navigate through message.
- Press DEL and INS to edit message as required.
- Press COL if you want to change the color of the message at any point.
- Press ENT to put sign back into run mode.
- To Delete a Message
- Press PROG– “Clear Memory?” will appear on sign.
- Press [-->]– “Clr Slots?” will appear on sign.
- Press J (or whatever slot you want to delete).
- Press ENT to delete message and put sign back into run mode.
- Additional Button Functions
- DEL&ndash When inputting or editing messages use this button todelete characters one at a time backwards. Acts like the BACKSPACE button on a keyboard.
- ALT– To access the symbols shown above corresponding buttons. Acts like the SHIFT key on a keyboard.
- CAP– Shifts between upper case and lower case letters. Acts like the CAPS LOCK button on a keyboard.
- ESC– Cancels the current operation and puts the sign into run mode.
