- What is the normal status ofthe indicators on the Internet unit?
- Link: Green, solid
- Net Tx/Rx: Yellow, blinking
- Collision: Yellow, off
- Diagnostic: Red, off (blink a few seconds after power connection)
- Status: Green, blinking
- The “link” indicator is not lit up.
- Check the connection and cable between your unit and the switch or router.
- Connect the unit to a different port on the switch or router.
- The indicators are correct but I can’t receive any messages.
- If you have just connected your sign, please wait up to 24 hours.
- If you have not received any message over a 24-hour period check the DHCP server in your local network to be sure the IP address was assigned to your unit properly.
- The indicators are correct, my IP address and gateway are assigned properly but my sign is still not receiving any messages.
- Check connections and cable between the unit and sign.
- If your sign has two jacks be sure that it is plugged into the right jack, marked “RS-232,” usually second from the end.
- Reset your sign following these instructions. Wait 3-4 hours.
