What is the normal status ofthe indicators on the Internet unit?
Link: Green, solid
Net Tx/Rx: Yellow, blinking
Collision: Yellow, off
Diagnostic: Red, off (blink a few seconds after power connection)
Status: Green, blinking
The “link” indicator is not lit up.
Check the connection and cable between your unit and the switch or router.
Connect the unit to a different port on the switch or router.
The indicators are correct but I can’t receive any messages.
If you have just connected your sign, please wait up to 24 hours.
If you have not received any message over a 24-hour period check the DHCP server in your local network to be sure the IP address was assigned to your unit properly.
The indicators are correct, my IP address and gateway are assigned properly but my sign is still not receiving any messages.
Check connections and cable between the unit and sign.
If your sign has two jacks be sure that it is plugged into the right jack, marked “RS-232,” usually second from the end.
Reset your sign following these instructions. Wait 3-4 hours.
